+33 It should be socially acceptable to punch animals, amirite?

I think it's the opposite. People have gotten too comfortable around wild animals. A bite or scratch would install some fear back into them. When you are outside you are in their domain.

Lol, you think you'd survive a fight with a wild animal? It would tear you to shreds before you'd get a hit in. Hell, if dogs were not so docile and domesticated, they could easily kill a grown man.

Yeah, he had a weapon. That's different than using your fists.

I have a toddler, and a neighbor with a pitbull so I've already planned for this. It will likely clamp on a limb, so I would press however thumbs are free into its eye sockets until it let go, then grab the throat and choke it to death. That is if I'm not carrying at the time. Sorry dog

My father was 6'5 and quite built. Got attacked by a rottweiler while out walking and it did quite a bit of damage. After that he wouldn't go anywhere on foot without a baseball bat. Now say the same thing with a lion.

No of course a human wouldn't be able to take on a lion bare handed. But I don't live in the Serengetti, and I don't plan on climbing into any zoo enclosures any time soon lmao

I know and YOU brought up dogs. Do you have short term memory loss or something?

The point was that even big dogs would do damage, so OP's point is ridiculous.

Punch a bear or dog. Tell me how socially acceptable that turns out.

by DistributionDense630 1 week ago

Well if you end up punching a bear I don't think they will be able to tell you.
