+394 Just because I'm from Germany, does not mean I'm a Nazi. So please stop saying "hail hitler" when you see me in the hallway. It is hurtful and rude, amirite?

That really sucks.

I know!!!

No matter what country you were from you would likely get made fun of in some way, it's like hazing, if you let it get to you, you fail. You need to insult them back, the more witty, the better, if you do well, it should stop. Since your German, if your are also blonde with blue eyes, expect it to go on a bit longer than normal.

I wish everyone who said "yeah you are!" went to my school.

Ugh, that is so immature. Sorry :(

Thanks Rachel :)

That does stink, especially because a lot of Germany wasn't really responsible at all, and had nothing to do with the Holocaust. There were very few concentration or work camps in Germany, and the Germans as a whole were kept in the dark. Americans and the rest of the world should take the same, if not more, of the blame as the Germans (excluding, of course, those Germans to did know and didn't do anything). In short, sorry that is happening to you.

Americans should take as much of the blame as Germans for WWII? In Germany or not, they were German camps. I assume you're referring to the Japanese internment camps, while still wrong, there is a difference, so.... go crawl in a hole and die.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We should. It was all the other countries of the world who looked the other way when Hilter began invading certain countries and areas of countries.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Looked the other way? It was hardly our business, not until he made it our business at least. Historically, and even today most countries avoid getting involved in other countries wars if at all possible. War and taking territories wasn't unusual, and neither were crazy wars in Central & Western Europe (we still don't know why exactly WWI happened). You apparently have no idea how political and military shit worked back then, don't try to apply modern norms to historic wars. You'll make a fool of yourself.

We have a German exchange student in our school, everyone loves her! We're so sad because next week is the last week of school and she's leaving us. :( We also have a French exchange student, and a Chinese one I think.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

French kids get a lot of shit...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We love our exchange students. Our French student spoke very little English when she came, but now she is fluent because of all the friends she made. :)

Nazi! How many Jews have u eaten today?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, it's not racist! you're white! ugh, the same thing happened to me and my friend. She was called a Nazi just because she was german, it didnt even matter that she was from Jewish ancestry. As for me, someone in class said something like "All the germans are Jew killing Nazis" and my friend and I bothe said we were german. Awkward silence after that. But this totally sucks, no matter what race you are.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I can't believe kids at your school say that! My friend is german and he would beat the crap out of someone that said that and I would probably cheer him on

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Even my friends say that. They always refer to Hitler as my uncle, only because I am German. Yet Hitler wasn't even German, but Austrian.
