My response is: Damn Tim Hortons and Safeway. I've applied 4 times in both places, not even a damn interview.

Ooh, A Canadian! Try McDonalds. They'll hire pretty much anyone, and then you have something for your resume'.

I'm planning to, I'm just waiting for my dad to get home so I can ask him which location is the closest/most available.
I have almost nothing on my resume, except some volunteer work, but I'm going to do this program called Junior Achievement for business. Hopefully that's going to stand out on my resume.

Then give me the job and get me some experience, along with hundreds of other teens, seriously, they are all looking for someone with experience, there are plenty of open jobs but since they dont let anyone in without experience no one can get experience.

I volunteered at my dog's vet over the summer so now I easily got a job at Petco.

Advice to anyone with this problem: try volunteering first. That's experience, even if it's not paid.
That said, it's harder to find work now. I have 11 years of experience under my belt, and it's hard to find anything.
